Photos of Cornwall by CWWPhotography are now available as canvas prints and stretched canvas wraps.

Stretched canvas wraps are printed onto premium grade 400gsm canvas. This heavyweight canvas has a fine weave for enhanced detail retrieval and a bright white standard surface to achieve vibrant colours. Brilliant matt coatings offers a wide colour gamout. It is water resistant and does not crack when framing. Some suppliers will offer you a lightweight poly canvas (250gsm or less) don't be tempted to use this option as it will crack on framing and will eventually sag over time. The canvas is then wrapped onto either an 18mm or 38mm frame, the frames are made from profiled Premium European Pine or Fir wood kiln dried to 8% moisture content and includes tension wedges to retain tension and sawtooth hangers as standard. The wrap is then finished with picture framers tape so that no staples are visible and is coated with a giclee varnish which makes the canvas water resistant and protects against harmful UV rays. Canvas wraps will arrive to you ready to hang.

The other option is to purchase a canvas print, canvas prints are printed on the same high quality canvas but supplied rolled in a tube ready for you to frame or mount yourself.

Personal recommendation

This is my opinion on the three different sizes of canvas wraps which may help you. The standard 22" x 14" is a good size and shouldn't give you a problem when deciding where to hang it. However if you are looking to go for something that bit bigger then the 34" x 22" or 50" x 32" canvas wraps are ideal for anyone who wants it to be used as a feature for a wall, I think you will find that these will most definitely grab peoples attention when walking into a room as they do look truly stunning. The 34" x 22" prove to be a popular choice, I personally have three of this size in my living room, the 50" x 32" really is a huge canvas!
